Companions of the Order of Malta
Great Britain

Temporary site

As a Companion, you can give your time – volunteering in the Order’s care homes, helping the poor, elderly and

disabled on pilgrimages, at religious services, on retreats and at social events.

You can give your support to international emergencies – you are notified immediately in the event of a crisis so that you can assist the Order’s response. Most of all donations go to support these causes, with little or no money wasted on the charity running costs.

The Companions’ Society also offers those who have outgrown the OMV (the Order of Malta’s volunteer youth group) an opportunity to continue their work and support at home and overseas. Many people want to do more charitable work both at home and abroad, but their lives just don’t allow the time or opportunity. The Companions, through their subscription and prayer, are connected to a range of activities that give opportunities for service at every level of commitment.
